Two-ingredient protein bars

The easiest homemade protein bars you'll ever find! A deliciously healthy snack that's both high-protein and fibre-enriched.

Ingredients

For 2 protein bars:
60 g (4 tbsp.) Sukrin Syrup Gold
35 g (4 heaped tbsp.) whey protein powder in your favourite flavour*

Instructions

Heat the syrup in the microwave on full power for 20 seconds (or in a saucepan), until the syrup starts bubbling and reaches a runny, liquid consistency.

Add in the protein powder, and mix well into a solid dough. Knead the dough with slightly wet hands and shape into protein bars (use the back of two wet spoons if things get too sticky with your hands).

Allow the finished protein bars to set in the fridge for 10 minutes, then enjoy.

Tip: Mix things up by using different-flavoured protein powder or stevia drops for the protein bars. Coat them in melted chocolate, or add some berries, nuts or sugar-free chocolate.
