Sukrin Syrup replaces Fibre Syrup

Sukrin Syrup Gold replaces both Fibre Syrup Gold and Clear. It has the same level of sweetness as Fibre Syrup Gold, making it slightly sweeter than Fibre Syrup Clear.

How to use Surkin Syrup

Sukrin Syrup is ideal for drizzling over yoghurt, cottage cheese, porridge, pancakes, ice cream, desserts, berries etc. Use the syrup in baking and cooking where you would otherwise use honey or syrup. For example in homemade marinades and dressings.

Sukrin Syrup is excellent to give your cookies and biscuits a soft centre and crispy crust. It is also an amazing ingredient in home-baked bars, as it provides sweetness, a perfectly smooth consistency and a good source of fibre.

Below you’ll find a basis recipe for protein bars made with Fibre Syrup (approx. 2 bars):

– 60 g (4 tbsp) Sukrin Syrup
– 35 g (4 heaped tbsp.) whey protein powder in your favourite flavour

Heat Sukrin Syrup in the microwave on full power for 20 sec. (or alternatively in a saucepan on the stove) until the syrup has a completely liquid consistency. Add protein powder. Mix well with a fork/spoon until you get a solid consistency. Cut the dough by hand and form into bars. Allow to set for a few minutes in the refrigerator before eating. Tip: Coat the bars in melted Sukrin chocolate.

Sukrin Syrup is brilliant in combination with other sweeteners. Combined with Sukrin, it will remove the cooling effect Sukrin may produce in high doses.
