Healthy buns

Delicious wheat buns - sugar-free and fibre-enriched.

Ingredients

300 ml milk (37 degrees Celsius)
450 g wheat flour/spelt flour
50 ml FiberFin (can be replaced with flour)
1 tbsp. sugar/honey (for the yeast)
25 g Sukrin+
15 g Sukrin Gold
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp. ground cardamom
1 pk yeast
75 g butter, diced in cubes

raisins to taste
1 large egg (for wash)

Instructions

Warm up the milk and add all the other ingredients, except butter and raisins. Knead for about 15 min, until the dough easily lets go of the bowl.

Add the butter cubes and knead until the butter is all mixed in. Carefully knead the raisins into the dough.

Shape the buns and place them on a tray lined with baking paper. Cover with plastic wrap and set to rise for about 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Wash the wheat buns with a whisked egg and bake them on the middle rack for approx. 15 minutes until golden in colour.
