Melt the butter and let it cool. Whisk the egg and Finesse to create a light and fluffy mixture.
Combine the plain flour, potato flour, and vanilla sugar. Gradually add a portion of the flour mixture into the egg mixture and whisk well. Next, incorporate the cooled butter, and then gently fold in the remaining flour mixture. Finally, add the cold water bit by bit, stirring continuously.
Cook the biscuit rolls at a high temperature in a Norwegian “krumkake iron” until they are golden in colour. About one tablespoon of batter will make one biscuit roll. Roll the biscuits immediately after cooking. To avoid burning yourself, you can use a kitchen towel while rolling. Store the biscuit rolls in an airtight container.
