Panna cotta is a classic Italian dessert that literally means 'cooked cream'. This recipe for four comes with a tasty orange garnish.

Instructions

Panna cotta
Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water. Slice the vanilla pod in half and scrape out the seeds.

Bring the cream, milk, vanilla bean/seeds, and SukrinMelis to a boil and simmer for approximately 5 minutes. Remove the vanilla bean from the panna cotta mixture (save it for the syrup garnish), and squeeze the water out of the gelatin sheets. Stir the gelatin sheets into the mixture until fully dissolved.

Pour the panna cotta mixture into serving cups, glasses, or bowls and place in the fridge to cool.

Garnish
Peel the oranges and remove the pip and skin. Cut into cubes. Spread the orange cubes evenly over the panna cotta once it’s hardened.

Tip: This recipe can be varied with other berries and fruits.
