Instructions
Heat all ingredients, except peanut butter, in a saucepan with constant stirring. Once everything is well melted together, add the peanut butter.
Let the mixture boil over medium heat while stirring for 10-20 minutes, until the caramel thickens. (If you take a small piece of caramel in a glass of ice-cold water and it sinks to the bottom and can then be picked up and formed into a soft ball, the caramel is ready.)
Pour the caramel into small confectionery molds and optionally decorate with peanuts. Cool down and store in the refrigerator.
