This basic mix combines good-for-you fats, protein and fibre to make a delicious, healthy and energising snack.
Combine the ingredients in a bowl. Add any extra ingredients you like - try shredded coconut and freeze-dried raspberry, goji berries and hemp seeds, or a sprinkle of muesli.
Roll into balls. If you want, you can coat them in cocoa, coconut, hemp seeds or chia seeds. If the mixture is too soft to work with, chill the protein bites for a few minutes before coating.
Once ready, place in the fridge to harden, then keep chilled until serving.
